    Walking

    From the center of Urgench, head south on Mustaqillik Street toward the intersection with Amir Temur Street. Turn left onto Amir Temur Street and continue straight until you reach the main bus station (Avtovokzal). From the bus station, you can take a shared taxi (marshrutka) heading to Khiva. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Alight at the entrance of Khiva, then walk towards the city center. Follow the signs toward Itchan Kala, which is about a 15-minute walk from the entrance.

    At the Urgench central bus station, look for buses heading to Khiva. Buy a ticket to Khiva, and board the bus. The trip will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Khiva, walk toward the city center. Itchan Kala is located near the main entrance of the old city. Follow signs directing you to Itchan Kala, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.

    Shared Taxi

    From any point in Urgench, make your way to the central bus station or find a nearby location where shared taxis are available. Negotiate a price with the driver for a ride to Khiva. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Khiva, ask the driver to drop you off at the main entrance to the old city. Itchan Kala is a short 15-minute walk from there, follow the signs toward the historical sites.
