    Car

    If you are traveling by car from the Zarafshan Range, head towards the city of Samarkand. Use the main road (A-373) that connects Zarafshan to Samarkand. The journey should take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Samarkand, follow the signs to Registan Square, which is located on Registan Street. There is parking available near the square, but it can get crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. Be prepared to pay a small parking fee.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Registan Square using public transportation, first, take a minibus (marshrutka) from Zarafshan to Samarkand. The marshrutkas leave frequently from the central bus station in Zarafshan. The fare is around 5,000 UZS (Uzbekistani Som). Once you arrive in Samarkand, you can either walk to Registan Square, which is about a 30-minute walk, or take a local taxi for approximately 10,000 UZS. If you choose to walk, head east on Bukhara Road, then turn left on Registan Street, which will lead you directly to the square.

The fare for a taxi ride should be around 40,000 UZS, and the trip will take approximately 1.5 hours.
