Car
If you're driving from Tashkent, head east on the M39 highway towards Samarkand. After approximately 200 kilometers, take the exit towards Zarafshan. Follow the signs towards Zarafshan city center. Once in Zarafshan, navigate to Matbuotchilar Street, where you'll find local hotels and dining options. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as services may be sparse in remote areas.
Bus
From Tashkent, head to the Tashkent Central Bus Station. Look for buses headed to Zarafshan. The journey typically takes around 3-4 hours. Tickets can be purchased at the station and usually cost around 20,000 UZS. Ensure to confirm the bus schedule as it may vary; early morning departures are common. Upon arrival in Zarafshan, you can use local taxis or walk to reach your accommodation.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Tashkent to Zarafshan. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should range between 200,000 to 300,000 UZS depending on your starting point in Tashkent. The journey will take about 3 hours. Train
