To reach Lelepa Island by car, start your journey from Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu. Drive north on the main road (Route 1) towards the northern part of Efate. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach the end of the road, park your car at the dock located at the northern tip of the island. This area is known as the Lelepa Island ferry terminal.

At the Lelepa Island ferry terminal, you will need to take a local ferry to Lelepa Island. Ferries operate regularly throughout the day, but it is advisable to check the schedule in advance as it can vary. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Be aware that there may be a small fee for the ferry, generally around 1,000 Vanuatu Vatu (approximately $10 USD) per person. Keep cash handy as card payments may not be accepted.

If you are using public transportation instead of a car, you can catch a bus from Port Vila heading towards the northern part of Efate.
