Getting There

• Car

  From Port Vila, head north on the main highway, Route 1, towards the village of Eton. Continue for about 27 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left turn towards the village of Matevulu. Follow the road for another 6 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Matevulu Blue Hole. Upon arrival, there is a parking area available. Please note that there may be an entrance fee of around 100 Vanuatu Vatu per person.

• Public Transportation

  From Port Vila, take a bus or shared taxi heading towards Eton. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Matevulu. The fare is approximately 200 Vanuatu Vatu per person. After you arrive at the village of Matevulu, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Matevulu Blue Hole. Look for signs or ask locals for directions. There may be an entrance fee of around 100 Vanuatu Vatu per person upon entry.

• Bicycle

  If you are keen to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Port Vila. Head north on Route 1 towards Eton. This route is roughly 27 kilometers, and you will need to navigate the local roads. Once you reach the fork, take the left turn towards Matevulu and cycle about 6 kilometers more. Be prepared for some hilly terrain. The entrance fee to Matevulu Blue Hole is approximately 100 Vanuatu Vatu per person.
