Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from Port Vila and head towards the Ring Road, which encircles the island. Drive northwest on the Ring Road for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the sign for Evergreen Cascades Waterfall near Mele Maat. Look for the entrance on your right. There is a small parking area available. Note that there might be a small entrance fee for accessing the waterfall area. Make sure to check if the site is open before you travel.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Evergreen Cascades Waterfall via public transport, take a bus or shared taxi from Port Vila heading towards Mele Maat. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the waterfall entrance. From the drop-off point, it’s a short walk to the entrance. Be prepared to pay a small fee for the bus ride. Ensure to check the bus schedules for the return trip to Port Vila, as they may not run frequently.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are already in Mele Maat, you can walk to the Evergreen Cascades Waterfall. Depending on where you are in Mele Maat, you may need to walk along the Ring Road for about 1-2 kilometers towards the waterfall entrance. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, as the walk can be a bit challenging in the tropical heat.
