Getting There

  • Car

    If you're renting a car or driving your own, start from Luganville, the main town on Espiritu Santo. Head north on the East Coast Road (also known as Matevulu Road). Continue driving for about 20-25 minutes. Look for the sign for Matevulu Lodge on your right. The lodge is located at Lot 006 Matevulu East Coast Road. There is parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Luganville, you can take a local bus heading towards the East Coast. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Matevulu Lodge or at the nearest stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and the cost is usually around 200 Vanuatu Vatu (about $1.80 USD). Once you get off the bus, walk back a short distance along the East Coast Road to reach the lodge.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in Luganville. You can hire a taxi to take you directly to Matevulu Lodge. The ride will take about 20-25 minutes and should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 Vanuatu Vatu (approximately $13 to $18 USD). Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
