Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Port Vila, begin at the Vanuatu Tourism Office located on the main road, Rue de la Paix. Head south on Rue de la Paix towards the waterfront. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the wharf. Turn left onto the wharf road, which will take you past several local shops and restaurants. Keep walking along the water's edge, enjoying the views. After about 10-15 minutes, you will come across a sign for Fatumaru Bay on your right. Follow the signs leading you down a small path that will lead you directly to Fatumaru Bay.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Port Vila. Start from the main square at the Port Vila Market and head towards Rue de la Paix. Continue south on Rue de la Paix until you reach the waterfront. Once you reach the intersection with the wharf road, turn left and continue cycling along the waterfront. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Fatumaru Bay on your right, and follow the path leading directly to the bay.
Public Transport (Bus)
From anywhere in Port Vila, locate a bus stop along the main road. Look for a bus heading towards the east side of Port Vila, as they often stop near the waterfront. When you board, ask the driver if the bus stops near Fatumaru Bay or the wharf area. Once you get off, walk towards the water, and follow the path leading to Fatumaru Bay, which should be a short distance from the bus stop.
