Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Port Vila, head east on the main road (Lini Highway) towards Mele. Continue for about 9 km until you reach the sign for Rentapau. Turn left onto Rentapau Road and follow it for about 3 km. Look for the signs for Eden on the River on your right. There is parking available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    From Port Vila, take a local bus heading towards Mele. The bus fare is approximately 150 Vatu (about $1.50 USD). Inform the driver you are going to Rentapau. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Rentapau junction. From there, you can walk or hire a local taxi (around 500 Vatu) to take you directly to Eden on the River, which is about 3 km away.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct method, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Shefa Province. The fare from Port Vila to Eden on the River usually ranges from 1,500 to 2,500 Vatu depending on the negotiation with the driver. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.
