Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Port Vila, head northeast on the Ring Road (also known as the Mele Road). Follow the signs for Mele Maat. The drive is approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the area of Mele Maat, look for the sign directing you toward Evergreen Cascades Waterfall. You will need to park in the designated parking area. There may be a small parking fee, so be prepared with local currency.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Evergreen Cascades Waterfall via public transport from Port Vila, you can take a local bus or taxi that goes toward Mele Maat. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the waterfall entrance. Expect a fare of around 200-300 Vatu. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk to the entrance of the waterfall. Be aware that the local transport services may have limited schedules, so plan your return trip accordingly.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of the waterfall, you can walk along the marked trails leading to Evergreen Cascades. The trails are generally well-maintained, but wear sturdy shoes and bring water. The walk from the nearest drop-off point typically takes about 15-30 minutes depending on your pace.
