Walking
From the entrance of the Apostolic Palace, exit onto Viale Vaticano and head east. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro. Once at Piazza San Pietro, take a moment to enjoy the view of St. Peter's Basilica. From there, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and proceed until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, continue straight onto Lungotevere Castello. Walk for about 15 minutes, and then turn right onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Follow this road until you reach the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, which is a prominent landmark. Continue past the Basilica and head slightly uphill on Clivo di Scauro. The Case Romane del Celio will be on your left.
