Walking
From the Sistine Chapel, exit the chapel and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn left and walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Continue along the pathway, following the signs directing you to the Basilica. After reaching St. Peter's Basilica, you may enjoy the view of the square before heading to the nearby streets. From St. Peter's Basilica, take Via della Conciliazione heading towards the Tiber River. Cross over the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once you are across the bridge, keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Coronari. Turn left onto Via dei Coronari and continue until you reach Piazza in Piscinula. It will be a short walk of about 25-30 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Sistine Chapel, exit and make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via di Porta Angelica. Board Bus 40 or Bus 62 towards Termini. After a few stops, get off at the 'Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano' stop. Walk along Via Merulana until you reach the intersection with Via delle Sette Chiese. Continue straight until you reach Piazza in Piscinula. The total travel time, including walking, should be about 30 minutes.
