Getting There

• Walking

  After exploring St. Peter's Basilica, exit through the main entrance that leads to St. Peter's Square. Once outside, face the basilica and walk towards the left side of the square. Continue towards the Via della Conciliazione, which is the street that runs alongside the square. Walk straight along this road until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo, a beautiful bridge with a view of the Castel Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Via Papetto, which will lead you into the heart of Rome.

• Public Transport

  From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop at Via della Conciliazione. You can take bus number 23 or 280 that will take you to the nearest metro station. Once you get off, take the metro line A towards Anagnina. Transfer at Termini station to line C, and take it until the San Giovanni station. From there, you can either walk to the Ponte della Mola - Acquedotto Anio Vetus or take a bus to reach your destination.

  From St. Peter's Basilica, exit to St. Peter's Square. Walk towards the right side of the square and head down Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking until you reach the Tiber River, then turn left and follow the riverbank until you reach the Ponte della Mola. This route will take you through some of Rome's most picturesque areas, providing a scenic walk along the river.
