From the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, head towards the main square, St. Peter's Square. As you exit, you should see the large plaza in front of you. Walk straight down the central pathway of the square, enjoying the view of the basilica behind you. Once you reach the end of the square, turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking along Viale Vaticano for about 5 minutes. The Sphere Within Sphere will be located on your left side, just a short distance from the Vatican Museums entrance.
