    From the center of St. Peter's Square, face the Basilica. Walk towards the right side of the Square, passing the colonnade. Continue walking straight until you reach the exit of the Square, which will lead you to Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers. You will cross the Tiber River via the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Continue straight on the road until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Vecchi. Turn right onto Via dei Banchi Vecchi and walk until you reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Cross the street and head towards the left, continuing on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. After about 500 meters, you will see Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana on your left.

    From St. Peter's Square, walk towards the nearest metro station, Ottaviano - San Pietro (about a 15-minute walk). Head south on Via della Conciliazione, then turn left onto Via Ottaviano.
