From the Sistine Chapel, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards the main entrance. Once you reach the entrance, turn right onto Viale Vaticano and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Turn left onto Via Leone IV and continue walking until you reach the Metro stop 'Ottaviano'. Take Line A (the orange line) towards 'Anagnina'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Termini' station. At Termini, transfer to Line B (the blue line) towards 'Laurentina'. Get off at 'Circo Massimo' after 2 stops. Once outside the station, head south on Via della Greca and continue straight until you reach Via Appia Antica. Turn left onto Via Appia Antica and walk for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella, located at Via Appia Antica, 161.
