    Getting There

    Walking

    From St. Peter's Square, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you are in front of the Basilica, exit the square and turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. At the river, take the stairs down to the riverside path and turn right to follow the river. After about 1.5 km, you will come to the Ponte Sisto bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Piazza Navona. From there, take Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina, which will lead you to Via del Corso. Follow Via del Corso until you reach the bus station at Piazza Venezia. Take the bus towards Tivoli, which will drop you off at Tivoli. From the bus stop, you can walk towards Vicolo Barchetto, where Rocca Pia is located.

    Public Transport

    From St. Peter's Square, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano-San Pietro. Take Line A (the red line) towards Anagnina. Transfer at Termini station to Line B (the blue line) towards Rebibbia. Get off at the Tiburtina station. From there, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take a Cotral bus to Tivoli. Once you arrive in Tivoli, walk towards Vicolo Barchetto to reach Rocca Pia.
