    Walking

    From St. Peter's Square, exit the square and walk towards the main street, Via della Conciliazione. Once you reach the street, turn left and follow it until you reach the bus stop at Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano. Look for the bus line that goes to Calcata Vecchia, which is usually Line 1. Take the bus; the journey will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving in Calcata, you can explore the village on foot.

    Walking and Train

    Exit St. Peter's Square and head towards the nearest metro station, Ottaviano. Take Metro Line A towards Anagnina and get off at the Termini station. From Termini, transfer to a regional train heading towards Orte or Viterbo. Get off at the Calcata station. Once you arrive at the station, it's about a 20-minute walk to reach the village of Calcata Vecchia.
