    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of St. Peter's Square, head towards the left side of the square, passing in front of the grand St. Peter's Basilica. As you continue walking, keep the Basilica on your right and walk towards the exit of the square. Once you reach the exit, take a left onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight along Via della Conciliazione for about 300 meters. You will see a large open space ahead; Piazza Pia will be directly in front of you.

    If you are standing in front of the Basilica, turn your back to the Basilica and walk straight towards the square's entrance. Once you exit the square, take a right onto Via della Conciliazione. After about 200 meters, take another right onto Via Sant'Anna, and you will see Piazza Pia directly in front of you.

    From the left edge of St. Peter's Square, walk towards the colonnade and exit the square. As you exit, turn right onto the main road, Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight for approximately 300 meters and you will reach Piazza Pia. It is an open area with benches and trees, easily recognizable.
