From the main entrance of the Vatican Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards Via di Porta Angelica. Turn left onto Via di Porta Angelica and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street and turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight until you reach the Tiber River. At the river, turn left and continue walking along the riverbank until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, head northeast on Piazza Navona towards Via Agonale. Follow Via Agonale until you reach Via Quattro Novembre. Turn left onto Via Quattro Novembre and you will find Mercati di Traiano Museo dei Fori Imperiali on your right.

From the Vatican Gardens, exit the gardens and walk to the nearest bus stop on Via di Porta Angelica. Board Bus 81 towards 'Piazzale Flaminio'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Venezia' stop. From there, walk along Via di Villa Peretti until you reach Via Quattro Novembre. Turn left onto Via Quattro Novembre, and you will find Mercati di Traiano Museo dei Fori Imperiali on your left.
