    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Vatican Museums, exit the main entrance and head towards Viale Vaticano. Turn left and follow the street until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Once you are at the square, turn right onto Via della Conciliazione. Continue down this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. After crossing, continue straight until you reach Via di San Gregorio. Take a left onto Via di San Gregorio and walk until you reach the Colosseum area. From there, head towards Clivo di Scauro, which is just a short walk away. You should see signs for Case Romane del Celio as you approach the location.

    Public Transport

    Start at the Vatican Museums and walk to the Ottaviano metro station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Exit the Museums and turn left onto Viale Vaticano, then make a right onto Via Ottaviano. Enter the metro station and take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Get off at the Termini station, which is about 4 stops. From Termini, transfer to Line B (the blue line) and take it towards Laurentina. Get off at the Colosseo station. Exit the station and walk towards the Colosseum. From there, head to Clivo di Scauro, where Case Romane del Celio is located.
