From the Vatican Museums, exit the museums and walk towards Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From the square, head towards the colonnade and take the left exit onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk down this street for about 10 minutes. You will see Castel Sant'Angelo on your right, located at Lungotevere Castello, 50.

Alternatively, from the Vatican Museums, you can take a shorter route by exiting the museums and heading directly to Via di Porta Angelica. Walk straight along this road until you reach the Tiber River. Turn left and follow the riverside path for about 5-7 minutes. Castel Sant'Angelo will be on your left, just across the bridge.
