Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica from the main entrance, where the grand square is located. As you walk out, you will see the large colonnade and the obelisk in the center of St. Peter's Square. Head towards the colonnade and take the path to your right. Continue walking along the edge of the square until you reach the end. At the end of the square, you will see a street called Via della Conciliazione. Turn left onto this street and walk straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Once across the bridge, continue straight onto the Lungotevere. After crossing, turn right onto Via di Torre Argentina. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Via Andrea Doria, where Mercato Trionfale is located. It should take about 25-30 minutes on foot.

Public Transport (Bus)
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the main entrance and walk to the bus stop located at Piazza San Pietro. Look for bus line 32, which goes towards 'Piazza Risorgimento'. Board the bus and stay on for about 5 stops. Alight at 'Risorgimento/San Pietro' and walk towards Via Andrea Doria. The Mercato Trionfale will be just a short walk away from the bus stop. This journey should take around 15-20 minutes including the walking time.
