    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Vatican Museums, head towards the main entrance and exit the museum complex. Once outside, turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight until you reach the nearest bus stop, which is located at the end of Viale Vaticano. Here, board the bus number 990 towards 'Anagnina'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Anagnina' station. From there, transfer to Metro Line A towards 'Battistini' and travel for 6 stops until you reach 'Termini' station. At Termini, transfer to Metro Line B towards 'Laurentina' and travel for 2 stops until you reach 'Colosseo'. From Colosseo, head to the nearby bus stop and take bus number 540 towards 'Frascati'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Rocca di Papa' stop. You are now in the vicinity of Monte Cavo. Follow the signs to Monte Cavo or ask locals for directions if needed.
