    From the Vatican Museums, exit through the main entrance and head towards Viale Vaticano. Once you reach Viale Vaticano, turn left and walk straight until you reach the large road intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Cross the intersection and continue walking straight along Via di Porta Angelica. After about 600 meters, you will reach the Castel Sant'Angelo. Continue past the Castel, heading towards the Tiber River. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and walk along the river until you reach Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight on Via dei Coronari until you reach the Piazza Navona. From Piazza Navona, head northeast on Via del Governo Vecchio, then turn right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Corso. Cross Via del Corso and head towards Piazza del Quirinale, where the Quirinal Obelisk is located.

  • Public Transport

    From the Vatican Museums, walk to the nearest Metro station at Ottaviano – San Pietro. Take Metro Line A towards Anagnina. After 4 stops, get off at the Termini station. From Termini, transfer to Metro Line B and take the train towards Laurentina. Get off at the 2nd stop, which is Cavour. Once you exit the station, head northeast on Via Cavour, then turn left onto Via dei Fori Imperiali. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach Piazza del Quirinale, where you will find the Quirinal Obelisk.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the Vatican Museums. You can find taxis waiting outside the museums. Tell the driver to take you to Piazza del Quirinale.
