    From the entrance of Vatican Necropolis, head towards the main exit of the Vatican Museums. Once you exit, turn right and walk along Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). This should take about 10 minutes. Once at the square, enjoy the stunning views of St. Peter's Basilica.

    While in Vatican Necropolis, make your way to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Board Bus #81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Piazza Venezia'. From there, you can walk to Pigneto by following Via del Corso until you reach Via dei Fori Imperiali, then take a left onto Via Merulana, which will lead you directly to Pigneto. This journey will take around 30-40 minutes total, including walking and waiting times.

  • Metro

    From Vatican Necropolis, walk to the Ottaviano Metro station, which is about a 15-minute walk along Viale Giulio Cesare. Once at the station, take Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Travel for 6 stops and get off at 'Termini' station. From Termini, switch to Line C (the green line) towards Lodi and travel for 6 stops, getting off at 'Pigneto'. This entire journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes.
