Getting There

Walking
Starting from the Vatican Obelisk, head west towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica. Once you reach the basilica, continue walking along the Via della Conciliazione until you reach the end of the street. From there, turn left onto the Via del Vaticano and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to the Museo Pio-Cristiano on your right. The entire walk takes around 15 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Vatican Obelisk, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Piazza San Pietro. Take bus line 81 or 492 towards Stazione Termini. After 5 stops, get off at 'Cavalleggeri/S. Pietro'. From there, walk west for about 10 minutes along Via della Conciliazione, then turn left onto Via del Vaticano. The Museo Pio-Cristiano entrance will be on your right. The bus ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes.
