Starting from the Vatican Obelisk, head towards the Basilica di San Pietro. Walk directly towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, which is located just a short distance away. As you approach the Basilica, look for the entrance to the Vatican Necropolis. The entrance is located beneath St. Peter's Basilica at the back, usually marked for guided tours. Be aware that access to the Necropolis is limited and requires a reservation, which can be made through the Vatican Museums' official website.

Public Transportation
If you're traveling from other parts of Rome, you can take the metro Line A to the Ottaviano-San Pietro station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Vatican Obelisk. Upon reaching the obelisk, follow the same walking directions to reach the Vatican Necropolis as described above. Note that public transportation costs around €1.50 for a single ride.

If you are driving, head towards Vatican City, and there are a few parking options nearby, but be aware that parking can be very limited and expensive. The closest parking area is at the 'Parcheggio Traspontina', located at Via della Stazione di San Pietro.
