Getting There

  • Car

    From the Bennington Battle Monument, head south on Monument Circle toward VT-9 E. Turn left onto VT-9 E and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Main St/VT-67 E, which will become North St. After 1 mile, turn left onto School St. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the Old Bennington Historic District, located in Old Bennington, VT 05201. Parking is available along the streets in the historic district, but be mindful of any parking restrictions.

    If you are using public transportation, you can catch the Green Mountain Express bus from the Bennington Battle Monument at the nearest bus stop. Take the bus heading towards North Bennington. After about a 10-minute ride, get off at the 'Main St & North St' stop. From there, walk east on Main St for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto School St. Continue straight for another 0.5 miles to reach the Old Bennington Historic District.
