Start from the Bennington Museum located at 75 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201. Exit the museum and head south on Main St towards the intersection with Route 9. At the intersection, turn left onto Route 9 (West Main St) and continue walking for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Silk Rd. Turn right onto Silk Rd. The Silk Road Covered Bridge will be a short walk down this road on your left.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start at the Bennington Battle Monument located at 15 Monument Cir, Bennington, VT 05201. Exit the monument site and head west on Monument Cir. Continue straight to merge onto Route 9 (West Main St) and ride for approximately 0.9 miles. Turn right onto Silk Rd. The Silk Road Covered Bridge will be located on your left.
Public Transit
If you prefer public transportation, take the Green Mountain Express bus from the Bennington downtown area. Board the bus that heads towards North Bennington. After a short ride, ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Silk Rd. Once you disembark, walk towards Silk Rd and follow it to the left. The Silk Road Covered Bridge is a short distance ahead.
