If you are traveling by car, head towards Elmore State Park, located at 856 VT-12, Elmore, VT 05661. From anywhere in Caledonia County, take I-91 S towards St. Johnsbury. Merge onto US-2 W in St. Johnsbury and continue on US-2 for about 22 miles. Turn left onto VT-12 S and follow it for approximately 10 miles until you reach the park entrance on your left. There is a day-use fee of $4 for Vermont residents and $8 for non-residents that can be paid at the park entrance.
