Getting There

    From Emerald Lake State Park, head west on Park Rd towards VT-30. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto VT-30 South. Continue on VT-30 South for approximately 7 miles until you reach the intersection with Waite Hill Rd. Turn right onto Waite Hill Rd. After about 1 mile, you will arrive at North Pawlet Hills Natural Area. Look for parking along the road.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, the nearest bus service is the Green Mountain Express. From Emerald Lake State Park, you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop located on VT-30. Take the bus heading south towards Manchester. Get off at the Pawlet stop. From there, you will need to walk about 2 miles north along VT-30 to reach Waite Hill Rd. Turn right onto Waite Hill Rd and continue for approximately 1 mile until you arrive at North Pawlet Hills Natural Area.
