Car
From the main entrance of Emerald Lake State Park, head south on Vermont Route 30. Follow Route 30 for approximately 8 miles. You will come to a fork; stay right to continue on Route 30. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Salmon Hole Lane. Follow Salmon Hole Lane for about 0.5 miles until you reach Salmon Hole, located at 1 Salmon Hole Ln, Jamaica, VT 05343. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first check for a local bus service that operates in the region. Take a bus from the nearest stop in Jamaica that goes towards the town center. After arriving at the Jamaica town center, you may need to use a ride-sharing service or taxi to reach Salmon Hole, as public transportation may not cover the last mile directly to 1 Salmon Hole Ln. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance for timings.
Walking
If you are already within Emerald Lake State Park and wish to walk to Salmon Hole, exit the park and head south on Route 30. It is approximately a 5-mile walk, which may take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Be cautious while walking along the road, as there may be limited sidewalks. Once you reach Salmon Hole Lane, turn left and continue until you reach the destination at 1 Salmon Hole Ln.
