Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from anywhere in Franklin County, take US-7 S towards Burlington. Then merge onto I-89 S towards Montpelier. Take exit 8 for US-2 E toward Montpelier. Continue on US-2 E, following signs for Montpelier. As you approach Montpelier, turn left onto State St. The Vermont State House will be on your left at 115 State St, Montpelier, VT 05633. Parking is available nearby, but check for any parking fees.

  You can take a Greyhound bus or a local transit bus from various locations in Franklin County to Montpelier. Check the bus schedule ahead of time for availability.
