Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Montpelier. Head south on Main Street toward State Street. Continue onto Parkway Street for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see Hubbard Park on your left at 400 Parkway St, Montpelier, VT 05602. There is parking available at the park entrance.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus service. Check the current schedules for Route 1, which stops near downtown Montpelier. Get off at the stop closest to Main Street and walk south on Main Street to Parkway Street. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to Hubbard Park.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Montpelier. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Parkway Street. Hubbard Park is approximately a 2-mile ride from the downtown area. Be cautious of traffic and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

• Walking

  If you are staying in downtown Montpelier, you can walk to Hubbard Park. Start on State Street and turn onto Main Street. Continue until you reach Parkway Street, where you will turn left. The park entrance will be about a 25-minute walk from downtown.
