Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Westmore, Vermont. Head east on VT-16 E for about 3 miles. You will then reach the entrance to the Mt. Pisgah Trailhead, which is located on the left side of the road. There is a parking area available at the trailhead. Please note that parking may be limited during peak seasons, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options to Mt. Pisgah are limited. However, you can take a bus to nearby towns such as Newport or Lyndonville. From Newport, you can catch a taxi or ride-sharing service to the Mt. Pisgah Trailhead, which is approximately 15 miles away. Be sure to check the local transit schedules in advance, as they may not operate frequently.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Mt. Pisgah Trailhead, you will find a marked hiking trail. The hike to the summit is approximately 2.5 miles and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Be prepared for steep sections and ensure you have appropriate footwear, water, and snacks for the trek.
