Car
If you are driving, start by heading to Stowe, Vermont. From Main Street in Stowe, turn onto Sunset Ave. Follow Sunset Ave until you reach the parking area near the start of the Sunset Rock trailhead. The trailhead is well-marked, and parking is available but may fill up quickly on weekends. There are no fees for parking, and the trail is free to access.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus service to Stowe. Once you arrive at the Stowe Village, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the Sunset Rock trailhead. Head north on Main Street, then turn left onto Sunset Ave. Continue on Sunset Ave until you reach the trailhead. Be sure to check the bus schedule beforehand for available routes and times.
Walking
If you are already in the Stowe area and prefer walking, find your way to Main Street and head north towards Sunset Ave. It is about a 1-mile walk to the Sunset Rock trailhead. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes, as some sections may have uneven terrain.
