Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main Killington Ski Area parking lot. Head east on Killington Road (Vermont Route 4) for about 2 miles. Turn left onto East Mountain Road and follow the signs for Killington Resort. Continue straight until you reach the resort entrance. From the entrance, follow the signs to the Killington Peak Gondola. There is a parking fee of approximately $10 per day at the resort, and the gondola ride to the peak costs around $20 for a round trip.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the schedule for the Green Mountain Transit bus service, which operates in the Killington area. Board the bus at any designated stop along the main road in Killington. Request a stop at the Killington Resort. From there, you can either walk to the gondola or take the shuttle service provided by the resort to the base of the gondola. The bus fare is typically around $2.00, and the gondola ride will cost approximately $20 for a round trip.
Shuttle Service
If you're staying at a local hotel or lodge, inquire about shuttle services offered by your accommodation. Many hotels provide free shuttle services to and from Killington Resort. Confirm the schedule with your hotel staff and make sure to reserve a spot if necessary. This is a convenient option if you want to avoid parking fees and the hassle of driving.
