Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car within the Lake Champlain Islands, head towards the US Route 2. Follow the signs to South Hero and continue onto Route 2 until you reach the junction with Route 17. Take Route 17 East toward Crown Point, New York. Continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach Bridge Rd in Crown Point. The Lake Champlain Bridge will be ahead, and you can park in designated areas nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check local bus services that connect the Lake Champlain Islands to the mainland. You would typically take a bus from South Hero or Grand Isle to the nearest major transit hub. From there, transfer to a bus heading toward Crown Point. Be sure to verify schedules, as public transport may be limited, especially on weekends. Once you arrive in Crown Point, follow signs or ask locals for directions to Bridge Rd, where the Lake Champlain Bridge is located.

• Walking/Biking

  For those already in the vicinity of the bridge, you can opt to walk or bike. If you are staying near the bridge, use local bike paths or sidewalks leading to Bridge Rd.
