If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Stowe, VT. Head south on Main Street towards VT-100 S. Continue on VT-100 S for about 8 miles. Turn left onto VT-15 E and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Sunset Ridge Trail. After about 1 mile, you will reach the parking area for Cantilever Rock. From the parking area, follow the hiking trail for about 0.5 miles to reach the rock formation. Note that the road to the parking area may be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

If you are using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Stowe to Underhill. The bus operates on a limited schedule, so check the current timetable for departure times. Once you arrive in Underhill, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Sunset Ridge Trail, as public transport does not reach the trailhead directly. The taxi ride should take about 15 minutes and may cost approximately $20. From the parking area, hike about 0.5 miles on the trail to reach Cantilever Rock.
