Walking from Molly Stark State Park is not recommended due to the distance and lack of pedestrian facilities along Route 9. If you still wish to walk, exit the park and carefully follow Route 9 southbound for about 9 miles, then turn left onto Sunset Lake Road. Continue walking for 1 mile; The Manitou Project will be on your right. Be cautious of traffic.
