Car
From Mount Mansfield, head south on VT-108 S toward Jeffersonville. Follow VT-108 S for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with I-89. Merge onto I-89 S and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 13 for US-7 S toward Middlebury. Merge onto US-7 S and continue for about 12 miles. Turn right onto VT-73 W and after about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Mt Philo Rd. Follow Mt Philo Rd for about 2 miles until you reach Mt. Philo State Park located at 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT 05445. There may be a parking fee charged at the park entrance.
Public Transportation
From Mount Mansfield, you will need to take a bus service to Burlington. Use the Green Mountain Transit bus service (Route 1) from Stowe, which operates regularly. Once you arrive in Burlington, transfer to the bus service heading to Charlotte (Route 12). The bus will take you to a stop near Mt. Philo State Park. Be sure to check the current bus schedules and fare information on the Green Mountain Transit website, as costs may vary. After getting off at the nearest stop, it’s about a 1-mile walk to the park entrance.
