If you're driving from anywhere in Mount Mansfield, head southwest on Mountain Rd toward VT-108 S. Continue on VT-108 S for about 8 miles until you reach I-89 S. Merge onto I-89 S and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take exit 14W toward US-2 W/South Burlington. Merge onto US-2 W and follow it for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Spear St, and you will see the parking lot for Overlook Park at 1575 Spear St on your left. The park is open year-round, so feel free to enjoy the natural beauty at any time!
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start by taking the Green Mountain Transit bus from Mount Mansfield. Look for the bus route that heads towards Burlington. You will need to transfer at the Burlington Transit Center to get on the Route 2 bus towards South Burlington. Once on the Route 2 bus, ask the driver to let you know when to get off at Spear St. After getting off, walk about 0.5 miles south on Spear St, and you will reach the parking lot for Overlook Park at 1575 Spear St. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the best times as services may vary.
