Car
To reach South Hero/White's Beach by car, start from the center of Orange County, Vermont. Take VT-14 N toward East Montpelier, and then merge onto I-89 N via the ramp to Stowe/Barre. Continue on I-89 N for about 35 miles. Take exit 17 for US-2 W toward South Hero. Follow US-2 W for approximately 10 miles until you reach the town of South Hero. Once in South Hero, turn onto W Shore Rd. The beach is located at 102 W Shore Rd. There is no entry fee for the beach, but be prepared for potential parking fees during peak season.

If you prefer public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit (GMT) bus service from Orange County to Burlington. From Burlington, take the GMT bus heading to South Hero.
