Continue on I-91 N for approximately 40 miles until you reach exit 27 to merge onto I-89 N toward Montpelier. After about 15 miles, take exit 8 for US-2 E toward Stowe. Follow US-2 E for about 12 miles, then turn left onto VT-100 N. Continue on VT-100 N for about 15 miles, then merge onto I-87 N toward Plattsburgh. Continue on I-87 N for about 45 miles and take exit 34 for US-9 N. Follow US-9 N for approximately 15 miles to reach Ausable Chasm at 2144 US-9, Ausable Chasm, NY 12911. There may be parking fees at the chasm, so be prepared for that.

If you prefer public transportation, start your journey at the nearest bus terminal in Orange County. Take a Greyhound or Trailways bus to Burlington, VT. From Burlington, you will need to transfer to a local bus service (check with local transit for routes and schedules) that can take you to Plattsburgh, NY. Once in Plattsburgh, you can catch a taxi or rideshare service to Ausable Chasm at 2144 US-9, Ausable Chasm, NY 12911. Be aware of bus schedules as they may not run frequently; plan your trip accordingly.
