From the center of Orleans County, head south on VT-5 towards Westmore. Continue on VT-5 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with VT-16. Turn left onto VT-16 and follow it for about 2 miles. Look for signs directing you to Lake Willoughby, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available for visitors.

From Barton, you may need to arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to reach Lake Willoughby, as it is about 10 miles away. Ensure to check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary and could include costs ranging from $2 to $5 for the bus ride.
