Car
If you are in Quechee Gorge and driving to Buttermilk Falls, start by heading south on Quechee Main Street. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 for approximately 10 miles. Look for the signs indicating Ludlow and Route 100. Merge onto Route 100 South. After about 6 miles, turn right onto Buttermilk Falls Road. Continue on Buttermilk Falls Road for about 1 mile, and you will find the entrance to Buttermilk Falls on your left.
Public Transportation
To reach Buttermilk Falls using public transportation, start at the Quechee Gorge Visitor Center. You will need to take a local bus or shuttle service towards Ludlow. Check the local schedule for the nearest bus stop and departure times. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop for Route 100. From there, you may need to walk about 0.5 miles to the intersection of Route 100 and Buttermilk Falls Road. Turn onto Buttermilk Falls Road, and continue walking for about 1 mile to reach the falls.
