Look for a small parking lot designated for trail access. Note that parking may have a fee; be sure to check for any posted signs.

For those using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus service from Stowe to the Smugglers' Notch State Park stop. Turn left onto Notchbrook Road and walk another 0.5 miles to reach the Mill Trail parking area. Prepare for a longer walk, as public transport may not take you directly to the trailhead.
