Car
From Stowe Mountain Resort, take Mountain Road (Route 108) south. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 100. Turn left onto Route 100 and head south for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for Barnes Camp Boardwalk. Turn left into the parking area at 82 Mansfield Base, Stowe, VT 05672. Parking is free, and the boardwalk access is just a short walk from there.

If you are using public transportation, check the local bus service for routes that connect Stowe Mountain Resort to the area near Barnes Camp Boardwalk. You may need to transfer at a main hub, such as the Stowe Village, to catch a bus heading south on Route 100. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Barnes Camp. It is advisable to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Stowe Mountain Resort and prefer to walk, from the resort, head south on Route 108. It’s approximately a 30-minute walk (about 1.5 miles). Follow the path along the road and keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Barnes Camp Boardwalk. Be cautious of traffic as you walk along the roadside.
