    From Sugarbush Resort, head west on Sugarbush Access Road until you reach Route 100. Turn left onto Route 100 South and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Turn right onto Lincoln Gap Road and continue for about 5.5 miles until you reach Elder Hill Road. Turn left onto Elder Hill Road, and the Battell Trailhead will be located on your right at 1922-1940 Elder Hill Rd, Lincoln, VT 05443. There is no parking fee, but ensure to park in designated areas.

    Public transportation options are limited in this region. You can take a shuttle service from Sugarbush Resort to the nearest town with a bus stop, which is in Waitsfield. From there, you can use the Green Mountain Transit bus service. However, please check schedules in advance, as services may not run frequently.
